Solid Digital’s Digital Value is a metric that represents the success of your organization’s digital presence – i.e., the value of what your brand puts into the digital ether. In effect, it’s an amalgamation of all the efforts marketing teams put forth when they provide new blog content, post new videos, advertise on LinkedIn, collect new Google reviews, and so on.
Digital Value represents the holistic measurement of a brand’s online presence, encapsulating its performance across various digital channels and platforms. Comprising four key metrics—content, traffic, keyword ranking, and conversions —Digital Value provides a comprehensive understanding of how effectively a website is resonating with its target audience and driving meaningful interactions. This numerical representation serves as a valuable indicator of the overall effectiveness and impact of a brand’s digital marketing efforts in today’s hyper connected landscape.
Our formula for calculating a brand’s Digital Value includes four metrics, allowing for a low score of -10 and a high score of 10 for each. Thus, one’s combined Digital Value falls between a low of -40 (not hitting even the minimum target range for any metric) and a high of 40 (hitting all four targets). Whatever measurement your marketing team uses, the metrics, and how they change over time can provide insights and guidance on where your efforts are having the most impact and where your focus should be for continued growth.
